The Svarup Story
Svarup Enterprises was founded in Pune in 2001 with a singular purpose — to make premium artificial flooring accessible to every Indian home, office, and commercial space. What began as a modest operation serving local contractors and interior designers has, over two decades, grown into one of Maharashtra's most trusted and recognisable flooring distribution businesses. From the very first day, the founding philosophy has remained unchanged: quality products, honest pricing, and genuine after-sales care.
Through the 2000s and 2010s, the Indian flooring industry evolved rapidly — new materials emerged, global brands entered the market, and customer expectations rose dramatically. Svarup Enterprises evolved alongside this growth, continuously expanding its product range to encompass laminate wooden flooring, PVC and vinyl planks, SPC and WPC composites, artificial grass, carpet tiles, rubber and sports flooring, outdoor decking, anti-fatigue mats, and accessories. Brijesh Shah founded Svarup Enterprises in Pune in 2001 with a vision to transform how India sources and experiences artificial flooring. Drawing on deep relationships with manufacturers across India and abroad, he built a distribution model centred on product authenticity, transparent pricing, and consultative selling that has stood the company in good stead for over two decades.
Under his leadership, Svarup Enterprises has grown from a single-city operation to a pan-India presence, completing hundreds of commercial and residential projects and earning recognition as one of Maharashtra's most trusted flooring specialists.
